The Turbo box we are fitting to the car was specially
made for us - its much thicker than the ones you normally buy - 2.5 mm
as compared to bought ones at a very puny 1mm - and is deeper and wider
to clear the wastegate.
The first job is to strip the engine bay, and cut the hole for the
box - a little at a time til its a snug fit, and then seam weld round
both the inside and outside.
The heater has to be repositioned as can be seen below.
We also welded up the speedometer and heater holes for better sound
deadening, strength, improved safety, and general tidiness.
