We stopped producing these kits about 4 years ago, after demand dropped, and we accepted a rather generous offer from an American customer for our Series 3, XJ40, and XJS T.W.R. Replica moulds.

The kit was fitted to the first of the XJR's and so the kit is known by some as the XJR kit and by some as the T.W.R. kit. Both are correct. Credit is given to T.W.R. for the design and that what we call it. This kit is no longer available new, but was very much more expensive (even in the 80's) than the kit we now offer.

During the past 12 months we have experienced a resurgence of interest in these kits and the XJ40 kit in particular. As such we have purchased a genuine (second hand) T.W.R. kit, which is being "improved", and prepared. The originals were never a spectacular fit, but with minor tweeks here and there the life of your bodyshop can be very much assisted.

The bumpers do away with the chrome tops, which makes them an ideal alternative to trying to find non-rusty ones when it comes round to mot time.

The skirts are already moulded, and the bumpers will be done shortly with shipping starting in mid to late September.
